OK Tire will open new facility in December
OK Tire should have its new facility open in December according to owner George Fresonke who said the new building will be be twice the size of the previous facility.
"The additional floor space is for indoor storage," he added. "We will still offer customers the same products we always have in the past."
Located at 43495 Fort Thunder Road, OK Tire is near the intersection of Highways 78 and 10, next to Lakes Area Co-op's Oasis/Cenex gas station. The previous facility was completely destroyed by fire in December of 2016. The cause of the fire was determined to be a malfunction in an oil burner.
Ok Tire is the only full-service tire dealer in town and the business has tires for pretty much anything someone might need, from cars to campers and more.
Fresonke said he is looking forward to the new building opening since they have been working out of what was their storage facility, and using containers and semi trailers for storage.
"They are putting steel on the roof next week, so it will really start to look like an actual building."
