Perham Focus brings two new faces to advertising

The Perham Focus announces the addition of two new employees to its advertising staff.

Marc Hartman has joined the team as an advertising representative for the Perham Focus newspaper and Contact Shopper.

A Detroit Lakes native, Hartman comes to Perham with previous sales experience as an associate at Lakes Sport Shop. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from North Dakota State University.

“His enthusiasm for helping businesses find the right match for their marketing budget, along with his top-notch customer service skills, make Marc a really nice addition to our sales team,” said Perham Focus General Manager Melissa Swenson.

In his free time, Hartman enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing.

“I’m excited to start my career in such a tight-knit community,” he said. “I look forward to working with many of the local businesses.”

Nikki Jahnke has been hired as an advertising sales assistant for the Focus and Contact. She comes to Perham from the Wadena Pioneer Journal, where she worked as Sales Manager.

Jahnke was raised in Bluffton and now lives on a hobby farm in Verndale, Minn. with her husband. She enjoys riding horse, playing volleyball and softball, running, and spending time with her family, friends and animals.

“I’m very excited to be working in this community,” said Jahnke. “I feel very welcomed by everyone that I have met and I can see why so many people live and visit here!”

Swenson said, “Nikki and I have worked together for years and she is the perfect fit for the advertising assistant position. Her knowledge of the many advertising options offered by our company will be a real asset to our sales team.”
