New head brewer in place at Disgruntled Brewing

Disgruntled Brewing continues to serve up craft beers at its location in the Perham Industrial Park.

Disgruntled Brewing lives on in Perham's industrial park after the business added a new head brewer to the mix recently.

Pete Waldon is the new head brewer, replacing original brewer Brett Doebbeling.

Waldon is not new to the craft brew industry, according to a press release from Disgruntled Brewing.

Waldon owned and operated Glacial Lakes Brewing Company of New York Mills in the 1990s. The announcement of the new brewer was made at the Economic Development Association annual retreat last week in Perham by EDA director Chuck Johnson. Johnson said Waldon was ahead of his time when he started a brewery years ago. But he is now able to continue his craft today in a booming craft beer market.

"Pete brings experience, passion for our traditions, and innovative new ideas that we think will make you love Disgruntled Brewing more," according to the press release.

Also new at Disgruntled is the release of a new red ale, Firkin Right.
