This biplane piloted by Ed Schoonmaker was  totally wrecked Tuesday morning when it crashed in one of the Perham potato fields northwest of Perham and struck one of the big company tractors (background). The plane was loaded with 150 gallons of herbicide solution. There is no apparent health menace from this accident. The pilot was uninjured in the accident. (Chuck Johnson photo)
