The family of the Late Marlys Schepper receive a plaque from Al Krueger in honor of Marlys' years of work at the concession stand at the Perham ballpark prior to the Pirates 4th of July game against the Dent Wildcats. On hand are Ronda and Robin Schepper with their daughters Reilee and Summer, and Bob Schepper. Reilee, Summer, Robin and Bob all threw out ceremonial 1st pitches prior to the game.

Despite leaving the bases loaded in four different innings, and committing four errors, the Perham Pirates beat the Dent Wildcats, 4-3, in the 38th Annual July 4th game at Krueger Field thanks to a fine pitching performance by Tyler Doll.

Doll would go the full nine innings for the Pirates, allowing one earned run.
