Area man sentenced for being threat to society
John Matthew Hanson, 46, of Parkers Prairie, was sentenced Sept. 7 in Otter Tail County Court for being inimical (a threat) to public safety. He was previously charged with driving after cancellation of his license.
Law enforcement stopped Hanson's vehicle in Parkers Prairie on Feb. 9, according to court documents.
He was sentenced to 120 days in jail, with 105 of those days stayed. He will serve 15 days in jail and will be on probation for two years.
