Armed robbery reported at Osage Liquor Store Saturday night

An armed robbery was reported at the Osage Liquor Store Saturday night, Jan. 18.

Becker County Chief Deputy John Sieling said the call about the robbery came in at 7:37 p.m. Saturday evening. The suspect, who was brandishing a dark, semi-automatic gun, was wearing dark sunglasses, a dark stocking cap and dark jacket.

"The suspect demanded cash and then left with some cash and demanded some liquor as well," Sieling said.

No one was injured during the robbery. The sheriff's department believes the suspect left in a vehicle but no description was available, he added.

"We're following up leads and are working on it," Sieling said.

The suspect remains at large. If anyone has information about the robbery, call the Becker County Sheriff's Department at 218-847-2661.
