Arvig announces intent to purchase St. Olaf Telecom
Arvig Enterprises, Inc. announced its intention to purchase the operations of St. Olaf Telecom in Northfield, Minn., from St. Olaf College last week.
The sale will be finalized once government and regulatory approvals are received.
St. Olaf Telecom provides telecommunications services to St. Olaf College, Carleton College and businesses in Northfield. It also provides local and long distance telephone services, high-speed internet and call conferencing services as a competitive local exchange carrier.
David Arvig, vice president and chief operating officer of Arvig, stated in a press release that, “St. Olaf Telecom is a high-quality communications provider that aligns with our goal of expanding services to area businesses.”
