Babysitting class offered October 16
Tri-County Health Care (TCHC) will be offering a class to educate students, age 11 and older, on proper babysitting etiquette and child safety.
The clinic covers basic responsibilities on caring for infants and children, including diapering and feeding techniques, game ideas, tips for bedtime issues and how to have a safe experience. Students will learn how to perform first-aid, choose safe age-appropriate toys and how to handle emergencies that arise such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents. Students are also coached on how to interview for potential jobs, how to be a good role model and they will learn valuable life skills, plus much more.
This year's clinic will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is only $15 per student. Pre-registration is required; sorry, walk-ins are not allowed. Class size will not exceed 25 students. Lunch, snacks and learning materials will be provided.
If you would like to register, or would like more information, please contact Holly Weller at 218-632-8777.
