BBB: Jackets score lowest point total of season in loss to Flyers
LITTLE FALLS — The Flyers recorded their second straight win and third in the last four games, on 14 points from Sebastian Sowada in a 53-39 victory over Perham Saturday.
Bryce Zawatzke added 13 points and Mark Hanowski tallied 10 rebounds for Class 3A Little Falls (11-13).
Perham (16-7) is in the middle of a regular season-ending four-game road trip and was playing on back-to-back nights after winning at Glyndon Friday night.
Sam Muer was the only Jacket in double figures with 12 points. Hunter Salathe and Eli Beachy each scored seven points.
Perham trailed 22-15 at halftime and were outscored by seven points, 31-24, in the latter frame.
The 39 points was the lowest point total for Perham in 23 games. Previously, the Jackets scored 47 in a loss at Hawley Jan. 7.
Perham continues the roadtrek at Pequot Lakes (9-13), before the last game of the regular season Thursday at Barnesville. The winner will tie for a share of the Heart O’ Lakes title with Hawley at 9-3 in the conference.
