Benefit planned for Ottertail man injured in crash
A benefit is planned Saturday, July 23 in Perham for Ross Weber of Ottertail, a former instructor and current student at Minnesota State Community and Technical College who was injured in a motorcycle accident April 21 near Albertville, Minn.
Weber previously taught at M State's Wadena campus and is currently a student on the college's Detroit Lakes campus.
Weber was hospitalized in the Twin Cities for two months following the accident, and he is now at home in Ottertail and receiving rehabilitation services.
The benefit, sponsored by the M State - Detroit Lakes Student Senate and Phi Theta Kappa honor society, will take place from 6-11 p.m. at The Cactus. There will be a free will donation, spaghetti dinner and silent auction.
Donations can also be left at the Detroit Lakes campus in the Student Services area, marked to the attention of PTK/Student Senate.
