Birkeland to head Perham Bremer Bank
Tim Birkeland has joined Bremer Bank as the Market Manager in Perham. In his new role, Birkeland will be responsible for managing all sales and service functions at the branch, while also working closely with Bremer staff to build strong community partnerships.
Birkeland joins Bremer from Bank Forward in Valley City, ND, where he served as Vice President. Prior to that, he worked for Bank Forward in Cooperstown, ND from 1994 to 2001. Birkeland attended North Dakota State University and lives in Dent. He has previous ties to the Perham area with a family cabin on West McDonald Lake. Birkeland, his wife Penny, and their four children will be moving to the Perham area to live.
Birkeland was actively involved in the community, volunteering for Barnes County United Way where he had served on the Board of Directors since 2001. He was past president of the Valley City Optimist Club serving on their board for the last eight years; he also served as secretary on the board of his Church Foundation for the last five years.
