Border West ends NY Mills wrestling team season in Section semis

WADENA -- The top seeds played out as expected at the Section 6A wrestling tournament.

Top-seeded Barnesville defeated No. 2 Border West handily 49-17 for back-to-back titles and a return trip to the state tournament at the end of the month.

Border West built a 44-12 lead on No. 3 New York Mills and held on for the 44-36 victory, despite the Eagles recording five pins in the final seven semifianl matches.
