Boys Basketball: Nickel triple-double downs Eagles


NEW YORK MILLS - Hunter Nickel recorded a triple-double if 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks as Moorhead Park Christian defeated New York Mills 69-46 Tuesday in boys basketball.


The game was a three-point affair at the break with the home Eagles trailing 27-24.

Charlie Peeters led the Eagles with 11 points, the only New York Mills shooter to tally double figures.

Zach Kvalvog scored 14 points for the Falcons who dominated second half play outscoring the Eagles 42-18 in the second half.
