Crosby-Ironton shot 38 percent from the field. Perham was 25-42 making nearly 60 percent of their shots. Perham's 10 percent shooting from three-point land (2-20) kept the game from being an even bigger disparity in score.

All but three buckets scored by the Yellowjackets came from within the charge circle.

The Yellowjackets continued to pile on the points expanding the lead to as much as 26 points when tri-captain Jake Anderson's three-pointer made the score 64-38 with two minutes to play.

"We really played our hearts out the whole game," Head Coach Dave Cresap said. "We didn't miss a loose ball."

Perham owned the glass pulling in 42 rebounds to only 19 from C-I. The Jackets had 18 offensive boards alone.

"We just talked about keeping the pressure on and finally we wore them out," said Cresap.

Perham (3-1) takes a three-game win streak into Pelican Rapids (2-1) to face the No. 3-ranked 2A Vikings in what has been a rowdy gym full of late-game Viking heroics the past two seasons, including the only loss suffered by the 2010-11 state championship Yellowjackets in overtime.

Pelican Rapids enters the game on a two-game win streak after pounding 3A Detroit Lakes on the road 66-36 and defeating No. 6-2A St. Peter this past Saturday in Minnetonka 59-55.
