Bus provided to international festival
Bus travel to the June 20 Pelican Rapids International Festival will be provided by the Multi District Cultural Collaborative.
The bus will leave the Perham High School parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and return at 5 p.m.
Following is the schedule of events:
--9 a.m. Chalk the Walk Broadway Downtown Sidewalk, musicians welcome
--10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 'Faces of Change' photo documentary at Sherin Park
--10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Red River Dixieland Band plays on the sidewalk on Broadway
--11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ethnic (American, Bosnian, German, Mexican, Scandinavian, Somali, and Vietnamese) food booths at E.L. Peterson Park
--12 p.m. Flag raising (music by Band of Faith) at E.L. Peterson Park
--12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Marketplace and World Craft demonstrations at Sherin Park
--1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Childrens crafts and games from around the world; pinatas at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. at Sherin Park
--1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. World Music and Dance at the Sherin Park Shelter
