Battle Lake police, at 1:40 a.m., noticed that a vehicle had no taillights and had made U-turns on Main Street. Officers made an effort to have the vehicle pull over. Instead, a chase pursued.

Aasberg, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, was driving a 1998 Plymouth Neon. The pursuit began near Battle Lake and continued close to Underwood, along Highway 210 and into the city limits of Fergus Falls. Speeds exceeded 80 mph.

Aasberg’s vehicle came to a rest after members of the Fergus Falls Police Department deployed a tire deflation device. She was taken into custody and charges were pending at press time.
