Dalton woman charged for assault on sheriff's deputy

A Dalton woman was arrested after assaulting an Otter Tail County Sheriff's Deputy on Feb. 21.

Law enforcement had been called to a residence where a woman was believed to be in physical danger after taking prescription pain killers while at the same time using alcohol.

The woman, who has not been identified, was checked out at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls and later booked for assault in the fourth degree at the Otter Tail County Jail.
