Damages reported after hunting cabin break-in
A hunting cabin north of Bluffton was damaged during a break-in this winter.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office relayed the report of a theft and property damage at the cabin on Monday. The break-in is believed to have taken place between December 2013 and March 16 of this year.
The cabin owner is Robert Loots, 53, of Ottertail.
Numerous items were taken, including a chainsaw, TV, hunting clothes and various pieces of equipment.
There was damage to a bar cart, the cabin walls and door.
The dollar amount of the stolen items and damage totals nearly $2,000.
