Deer management banquet set Sept. 11
The Mid-Minnesota Quality Deer Management Branch will hold their second annual banquet on Friday, September 11, at the Frazee Event Center. Social hour / games will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a meal being served at 7:00.
The mission of QDMA is to promote sustainable, high quality white-tailed deer populations, wildlife habitats, and ethical hunting experiences through education, research, and management in partnership with hunters, landowners, natural resource professionals, and the public.
Local branches benefit by raising funds for local projects designated by the branch committee.
All funds raised in the name of QDMA are used to fulfill its mission. Over the past few years, the QDMA has made significant contributions in the areas of education, conservation, research, management, and youth programs. The QDMA has a proud history of using its funds wisely for the greatest benefit to its members and the resource. In fact, the QDMA ranks as one of the most efficient wildlife conservation organizations, with only a fraction of its revenues being used for administration.
