Dina K. Schultes, 40, of Perham, died Sunday, August 3, 2008, after a bout with stomach cancer.
Dina K. Remmen was born the daughter of O'Dean and Bonnie (Hodgson) Remmen on March 22, 1968, in St. Paul. In 1986, she graduated from Frazee High School in Frazee. Dina later married Jeff Schultes of Perham and they had two sons, Jesse, 17, and Dawson, 5, but later divorced.
Dina was employed with Kenny's Candy in Perham for 15 years. She loved her job and made many good friends throughout the years. Dina loved her boys, going to Moondance Jam, playing bingo, board games with friends, tubing the Otter Tail River, and she was crazy about Jon Bon Jovi, "the only singer on the planet."
Dina is survived by her two sons, Jesse and Dawson, both of Perham; mother, Bonnie Hodgeson Remmen of Perham; and two brothers, Bob Amundson of Dell City, Okla., and Jerry Amundson of Fargo.
Preceding Dina in death was her one and only sister, Jackie, on May 8, 2008. The sisters will be buried together.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, continuing for one hour prior to Thursday's funeral at the church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, with the Rev. Carl Noble officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
