DNR says get your fishing, hunting, boat licenses today -- law will be enforced during shutdown
Today could be the last day for Minnesotans to buy a fishing license if the governor and legislative leaders fail to reach a budget agreement. The DNR's Steve Michaels says license sales will be suspended during a state government shutdown. That includes boat and ATV registrations and hunting licenses. Michaels says license sales have been on the rise over the last week. He adds that conservation officers will still be enforcing the laws if state government shuts down.
