The New York Mills boys basketball team held off Park Christian 72-65.
Park Christian made runs at the Eagles' lead but were unable to get within seven points in a second half dominated by the home team.
With under five minutes to go the Eagles held an eight-point advantage. Park Christian moved the ball around looking to get under the seven-point deficit when a Frank Peeters block set the tone for the final four minutes.
The Eagles' aggressive play had them in the bonus early and the double bonus with five and one-half minutes to go and put the game away from the free throw line.
Isaiah Bauck scored 18 points, nine from the charity stripe. Peeters scored 12. Spencer Imsande hit double figures scoring 10.
The Eagles even their record at 4-4 and take a two-game win streak into Thursday's home game versus Verndale (1-4).
