The season came to an end for the New York Mills volleyball team, a season that provided a lot of experience, but unfortunately, zero wins.

Norman County West was victorious in three straight sets, 25-19, 25-18 and 25-14.

Taylor Plautz led the Eagles with 10 blocks. Jackie Imsande had eight.

Offensively, Imsande had nine kills. Megan Cole had four and Lexi Rankka had seven assists.

The loss drops the Eagles final record to 0-26.

"I'm really proud of how much the girls improved throughout the year - yes, it would have been nice to have an actual win rather than just winning some sets, but we knew going in that this was going to be a rebuilding year," Head Coach Amy Koskela said. "I know we hit some rough patches throughout the year, but when we were able to come back to the small celebrations, the girls were truly able to see how far we had come. Next year's team will have 11 returning letterman, and hopefully we are going to be able to show everyone how much we learned this year."

All members from this year's team, outside of senior Megan Cole, will return next year as seasoned veterans from what appears like a tough year on paper, but certainly provided valuable experience and motivation for the future.
