The Lund-Crestline factory in New York Mills was evacuated March 8 after a bomb threat was reported.

At 1:27 p.m., a 911 call was placed and a male caller said "There is a bomb in the factory," and hung up, according to NY Mills Police Chief Jim Van Schaick.

Police are in the process of tracking the call.

Brunswick Corporation, which owns and operates the factory, evacuated all employees shortly after the call, according to Van Schaick.

Streets were blocked off and school buses were rerouted, according to Van Schaick.

A team with bomb-sniffing dogs checked the facility on Tuesday and found nothing out of the ordinary, Van Schaick said.

After the search, employees shut down the factory and resumed normal operations on Wednesday.

The NY Mills Police Department, State Patrol, Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office and NY Mills Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
