Fargo police looking for suspects after clerk pushed down during robbery
FARGO -- Fargo police were looking for two suspects after a store clerk was pushed to the floor during a robbery at a north Fargo convenience store early Sunday.
The robbery was reported about 3:20 a.m. at the Loaf 'N Jug store at 1201 N. University Drive.
The suspects came into the store, and while one was buying cigarettes, the other suspect attacked the clerk and pushed him to the floor, Sgt. Glen Hanson said.
The suspects grabbed an undetermined amount of money from the open till and fled on foot, he said.
No weapons were used, and the clerk wasn't seriously injured, Fargo police Sgt. Jeff Skuza said.
Both suspects were described as American Indian males around age 20.
One was described as being 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 220 to 240 pounds and wearing a black jacket with a white or light-colored hoodie pulled up over his head, white gloves or socks over his hands, blue jeans and tennis shoes. The other suspect was described as wearing a maroon or red hoodie and a baseball cap.
The robbery was caught on surveillance video, and there was money left behind in the till, Hanson said.
