FARGO – A Fargo woman has died from injuries suffered in an apartment fire Saturday that also killed her boyfriend.

Angela Wentz, 42, had been in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis since the fire at 925 Page Drive. She died between 7 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, Fargo Fire Marshal Norm Scott said he was told by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Wentz’s boyfriend, Jesse Madson, 30, died in the fire.

Scott determined that the fire, which also displaced 16 other residents from the 20-unit complex, was started by smoking materials that ignited nearby combustibles in the second-floor unit.
