FERGUS FALLS -- The No. 1-3A Fergus Falls Otters (7-0) cruised by the Perham Yellowjackets (0-9) 88-30 Thursday evening at the Birak Shrine Club Holiday Tournament.


The victory pits the Otters against another undefeated No.1-ranked team, Class A Mountain Iron-Buhl (10-0). The Rangers defeated Breckenridge (5-4) by a score of 51-44.

Miranda Lockhart scored 12 points to lead Perham, but the Otters were up big by halftime 50-15.

Brianna Rasmusson scored a game-high 18 points to lead Fergus Falls including four three-pointers. Bailey Strand scored 15 points.

Perham and Breckenridge will play at 2 p.m. today. Mountain Iron-Buhl and Fergus Falls square off in the title game at 6 p.m.
