West Battle Lake, Otter Tail Lake, Big Pine, Little Pine, Rush Lake, and East Battle Lake are producing walleyes in 16 to 24 feet. Look for sunfish and crappies in eight to 14 feet on lakes Dead, Deer, Stalker, Silver, Stuard, Blanche, and West Battle. Northern pike and bass are an easy catch on the weedlines of most lakes, while bucktails and CowGirls continue to interest muskies on the deep weeds of West Battle.

Walleye action has remained fairly consistent early and late in the day on lakes Melissa, Sallie, Big Cormorant, and Big Detroit in 17 to 22 feet. Sunfish can be had on the weedlines of Big Detroit and Floyd Lake with lakes Sallie, Big Detroit, and Sour producing crappies over 17 feet. CowGirls or topwater baits are triggering muskies on the weed tops and humps of Big Detroit and Sallie.

PARK RAPIDS AREA
Walleyes continue to hit spinners and leeches in 18 to 20 feet on Long Lake, Fish Hook Lake, and Potato Lake during the evening hours. Panfish remain active in 10 to 12 feet on Portage Lake, Lake Itasca, and the Crow Wing Chain. Northern pike are hitting spinnerbaits on Big Mantrap Lake and bass are an easy catch throughout the area.
