Free lecture at veterans museum June 26 features story of B-52 crash in Minnesota
On Friday, June 26 at 8:00 p.m. aviation historian Noel Allard will be at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham. His lecture and slide show is a dramatic account of events the night of September 6, 1958 when a B-52 bomber, on a training mission from Limestone, Maine, with the objective to radar-bomb Minneapolis/St. Paul, lost flight control and crashed in Inver Grove Heights.
