The authors funded with this grant include Rae Eighmey, who will talk about her book "Food Will Win the War," on October 2, at noon, at the ITOW Veterans Museum.

Later in the month, Diane Wilson will talk about her book "Spirit Car: Journey to a Dakota Past," on October 23 at 3 p.m., at the Perham Public Library.

The grant also includes funding to provide additional workshops by the authors for students and community.

These programs are sponsored by the Perham Area Public Library and the Viking Library System and funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.

Thanks to grants like these, all the fall programs will be free and open to the public. For more information about History Heritage and Heroes visit www.ITOWmuseum.org or email museum@eot.com or call 218 346-7676 to be notified of upcoming events.
