Despite the cold and wet weather, three Augsburg runners recorded personal-best times, as the Auggies ran to a 23rd-place finish at the event.

Augsburg was led by Shayla Fulford, a freshman, from Perham, who finished in 108th place, recording a personal-best time of 24:49.4 over the 6,000-meter course. Fulford's time was over a minute faster than she recorded at the MIAC championships two weeks ago.

The next finisher for Augsburg was Kacie Bahr, a junior from Brainerd, Minn., who finished the race with a personal-best time of 25:28.5.

Newcomer Anika Clark, of Lakeville, Minn., finished third for Augsburg, recording a time of 25:44.7.

The NCAA Division III Central Regional marks the final meet of the season for the Augsburg women's cross-country team. The Auggies will return a more experienced and seasoned team in 2011.
