Full day, night of activities planned for fall event

Mark your calendars for Perham's Annual Harvest Fest Flea Market.

This year the festival is on October 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Antiques, gifts, crafts, foods and many novelties are just a few of the items available at the festival.

The East Otter Tail Historical Society is accepting applications for the flea market.

There are currently two locations for the flea market. Market One is located downtown across from Pizza Ranch and Market two is located at Blossoms, Birds & Beyond Garden Center.

Perham Sportsman's Club adds archery contest, dinner-dance to autumn line-up

This year the Perham Sportsman's Club will be hosting two events during Harvest Fest on Oct. 3.

An archery tournament for youth, men and women is being planned for the community and then an evening of dinner, dancing and drinks at the Grandview Heights Ballroom starting at 6 p.m.

Local favorite, "Sapphire" will be performing starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the evening event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Kids 14 and under will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

You can purchase your tickets at Ma's Red Barn, The Enterprise Bulletin, Perham Chamber office, and from Sportsman's Club members. The Sportsmans Club's mission statement is "All Things to All Sportsmen."

"We believe that our outdoor experiences today should be equal to any of our fondest memories. We believe that we have a responsibility to maintain and enhance this outdoor legacy," concludes the club in its mission statement.
