Gabriele Grunewald to run Falmouth Mile Aug. 16
Minneapolis/St. Paul – Aug. 12, 2014 – Team USA Minnesota’s Gabriele Grunewald will be among the competitors in the women’s field at the Falmouth Mile, which will be held at Falmouth High School in Massachusetts on Aug. 16. The mile races on the James Kalperis Track start at 4 p.m. CST.
Grunewald last raced at the Falmouth Mile in 2012 and finished second in 4:27.94. Most recently she won the GNC Live Well Liberty Mile on the streets of downtown Pittsburgh on Aug. 1 in a time of 4:31.68. She is also the 2014 USA Indoor 3000 meter champion.
The Falmouth Mile is part of the Falmouth Road Race weekend with the 7-mile race occurring on Aug. 17.
