Gabriele Grunewald on U.S. Team for Glasgow Int’l Match
Minneapolis/St. Paul – Jan. 22, 2014 – Team USA Minnesota’s Gabriele Grunewald has been named to the U.S. Team that will compete at the Glasgow British Athletics International Match in Scotland on Jan. 25. On the same day, Heather Kampf will run in the New Balance Games in New York City and Travis Burkstrand will be at the Terrier Invitational in Boston.
In Boston on Jan. 25, Burkstrand will run the mile at the Terrier Invitational which will be held at Boston University. He has a best in the distance on the track of 4:06.68. He most recently won the indoor mile at the Northwest Open at the University of Minnesota on Jan. 18. Burkstrand will then travel to Bloomington on Feb. 1 for the Indiana University Relays where he will compete in the 800 meters.
