GBB: Cowgirls down Yellowjackets 61-36

BRECKENRIDGE — The Breckenridge Cowgirls pulled into a tie with Perham in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference girls basketball standings after a convincing 61-36 win Friday night.

Analea Erickson continues to be a bright spot for the Yellowjackets as her aggressive play netted the senior a game-high 19 points.

Breckenridge answered with three players in double figures and the Cowgirls led by a 12-point margin at the break holding Perham to just 16 points up 28-16.

Kennedy Conzemius led the Cowgirls with 16 points. Haley Bommersbach scored 14 and Katrina Dahlgren added 14 points.

Breckenridge outscored Perham 33-20 in the second half to secure their second conference win of the season.

Perham and Breckenridge are tied at 2-5 in HOL play. Breckenridge improves to 6-6 overall. The Yellowjackets fall to 7-10.

Perham will play again tonight (Saturday, Feb 1) at 6 p.m. against Class 3A Detroit Lakes. The Lakers enter the game on seven-game win streak.
