PERHAM -- The Perham girls basketball team was unable to bounce back from a shaky first half and a late non-call from the referee forced a heave at the buzzer that did not go in a 42-40 loss at home to Breckenridge in Heart O' Lakes action Friday night.

The Cowgirls held the Yellowjackets to just 11 points in the first half and Perham committed 20 turnovers to give Breckenridge a 15-point spread at halftime up 26-11.
