Grunewald headed back to Europe
Gabriele Grunewald heads to Europe for three weeks of track competitions starting with Sainsbury’s Birmingham Grand Prix meet on Aug. 24.
At Birmingham, which is an IAAF Diamond League meeting, she will run the two-mile race. Her next competition will occur on Aug. 30 in Angers, France, where she will run the Deca Nations 800-meters as part of the U.S. team at this event.
She will then compete in at least two other European meets before concluding her 2014 track season by representing the Americas in the 3,000-meters at the Continental Cup in Marrakech, Morocco, on Sept. 14.
