Dr. Natasha Hamann of Buffalo, Minn., formerly of Perham, was united in marriage to Karl Ortquist of Cokato, Minn., on March 5, 2011.
Parents of the bride are Dr. Michael and Patricia Hamann of Perham. Parents of the groom are Chuck and Karen Ortquist of Cokato. The wedding was held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar, Minn., the same church in which the bride's parents were married.
The maid of honor was Dr. Brooke Hamann, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shayne Hamann, sister of the bride; Larissa Hoftyzer and Anne Ortquist, sister and sister-in-law of the groom; and Dr. Lisa Tolefson and Jodi Rohweller, friends of the bride.
Junior bridesmaids were Mikayla, Josilyn and Stephanie Ortquist, nieces of the groom.
Flower girls were Savannah Werner, niece of the bride and Hannah Hoftyzer, niece of the groom.
Guestbook and personal attendants included Linda Rise, Dr. Aliison Hoffman and Dr. Teresa St. George, friends of the bride.
The best man was Jordan Ortquist, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen included Andrew and Aaron Ortquist, brothers of the groom; and Andy Matzki and Dan Werner, brothers-in-law of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Jared, Kyler and Ethan Ortquist, nephews of the groom. Ring bearers were Drake and Dylan Werner, nephews of the bride, and Josiah Hoftyzer and Caden Ortquist, nephews of the groom.
Honored guests included Merinda Fiadeboe, bride's maternal grandmother and Jeannette Johnson, special friend of the Ortquist family. Vocal music was provided by Joel and Jenelle Green, cousins of the groom, and Jill Hettwer, friend of the bride. The wedding ceremony was conducted by Pastor Dean Johnson of Willmar with Pastor Paul Anderson of Perham, also participating.
Wedding hosts included Greg and Karen Rise of Perham and Damon and Tresha Melquist and Mary Jean Ortquist of Cokato. Reception greeters were Ken and Marilyn Florian, friends from Augsburg College. A reception was held at the Willmar Holiday Inn Convention Center, with music provided by the Shakers Band from Fargo.
The couple is residing in Buffalo. The bride is employed as a family physician at the Allina Clinic & Hospital and the groom is a carpenter for Jensen Homes in Minnetonka, Minn.
