Kids around the area took part in some pre-Halloween activities last weekend. A haunted house and hay rides were open to families at Pioneer Village, with trunk-or-treating available on Saturday. In New York Mills, younger kids worked on arts and crafts during a Halloween Party at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center, while older kids enjoyed some free bowling at Mills Lanes.
