Happy spring!

Today is the first official day of spring although it’s hard to tell from the look of things.

Mounds of snow freshly plowed and piled up were visible in Perham after a weekend storm system dumped an estimated five to eight inches throughout northwest Minnesota.

A blizzard that started Sunday night and lasted through Monday resulted in highway, school and business closures, with many people snowed in at home. Plows were still out late Tuesday cleaning up the mess.
