Highway 87 detour near Frazee begins today

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 87 east of Frazee will encounter a one-week detour when a culvert replacement project begins Monday, July 8, weather permitting.

Crews will replace a culvert just east of Becker County Road 31 about three miles east of Frazee.

During the project Highway 87 will close, and motorists will detour to Highway 10, Otter Tail County Road 60, and Otter Tail County Road 51/Becker County Road 33.

Residents who live within the road closure will be allowed to use Highway 87, except at the culvert replacement site.
