Holocaust survivors’ portraits featured at historical society
“Transfer of Memory,” a traveling exhibition illustrating Holocaust survivors who live in Minnesota, is coming to the Otter Tail County Historical Society.
The exhibit can be seen until March 28. Coordinating events will be at the Fergus Falls Public Library in March.
Each portrait shows a story of survival during difficult circumstances; yet, as a collection, the images focus on life and hope. Their lives are a constant reminder of the value of freedom and the enduring human spirit.
An opening night reception is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. The exhibit’s creators and survivor stories will be featured.
