A-hunting we will go

They came, they saw, they conquered. Excited kids were quick to scoop up more than 2,000 Easter eggs at the Ottertail Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.Bryan Olson of Perham shows off some of the eggs he found.

The eggs were scattered around the community park across from the Ottertail Community Center; paths were plowed so that families wouldn’t have to tromp through the snow.

Every child went home with candy and some sort of extra prize, such as a stuffed animal or Easter basket full of goodies.Josi and Zayne Reineke of Henning as they happily receive special prizes.

Kids also had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and play games.Gruette and Kadence Bain of Perham give big hugs to the Easter Bunny.
