Hurley wins 800 and 1,600m, named MVP at Paul Bunyan Classic

BEMIDJI — Perham senior Keeghan Hurley got his track season off in mid-season form winning the 800 and 1,600m runs and being named most valuable player at the Paul Bunyan Classic track and field meet Tuesday.


Hurley won the 800m in a time of 2:06.29. Miguel Perez of East Grand Forks was runner-up in 2:08.28. Christopher Knutson and Billy Beseman cracked the top 10: Knutson in fifth (2:13.20) and Beseman was eighth in 2:17.35.
