Ida Hoge, 96, of Baldwin, N.D., died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009.
She married Paul Hoge and farmed in North Dakota for many years. She watched the farm grow from 300 acres to more than 16,000 acres at one time. A cattle number of 12 grew to a herd of more than 2,300.
She is survived by two sons: Donald and Richard, both of Baldwin, N.D.; two daughters: Helen (Richard) Hubbard, of Sundance Wyo., and Jeanne (Dennis) Bergren, of Park Rapids; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister: Myrtle Olson, of Moorhead; and a brother: Helmer Magnuson, of Bismarck, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 46 years; a brother: George Magnuson; and a great-grandson, Eric Bergren.
Funeral service: Saturday, Jan. 10 at First Lutheran Church, Bismarck, N.D., with Rev. Allen Wagner officiating.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
