Informational meeting to be held by Cub Scouts Pack 321
This year, the Boy Scouts of America association is celebrating 100 years of adventure and continuing their journeys.
Parents are invited to bring their boys, grades 1-5, to an informational meeting on how to become a Cub Scout and to join in on the 100-year-old tradition.
According to the BSA, Cub Scouts is a year-round program focused on fun - camping, hiking, racing models cars, going on field trips, and working on projects to help your hometown.
The association promotes character development, good citizenship, family understanding, personal achievement, fun and adventure, spiritual growth, sportsmanship and fitness, respectful relationships, friendly service, and preparation for Boy Scouts.
The informational event will be held on September 14 at the Heart of the Lakes Elementary School Gymnasium at 6 p.m.
