Internet workshop to be held Feb. 3
The MIRC (Minnesota Intelligent Rural Communities) program will host a free workshop on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 5:30 p.m. to help rural businesses make better use of the Internet. The workshop will be held at the New York Mills High School Media Center.
Ryan Pesch, a University of Minnesota Extension Educator, will cover everything from simple Google map sites to websites with shopping carts. High school students proficient on the computer will be available for keyboard assistance.
A light meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. with Pesch's presentation. This will be the first of many similar workshops offered over the next 18 months.
