After nearly a month off over the holidays, the Perham gymnastics team was back on the road and back in full form.

Perham's Kelsi Vomacka and Mikaela Eickschen battled each other for the top spot at Park Rapids.

Vomacka took honors in all four events posting a near perfect all-around score of 38.475. Eickschen was second with 37.225, after finishing second in bars, third in beam, third in floor and second in vault.

With Carly Petersen, Satera Montella and Alexis Peichel filling the remaining finishing spots, the scoreboard was held clean of Panthers as Perham lit up Park Rapids 147.20 to 103.10.

Vomacka took the all-around title at the Princeton Invitational over the weekend, as well. She won both the floor and beam, placed second on bars and finished fourth on the vault.

Petersen, Peichel, Montella and Eickschen were scattered through the final scores, in Princeton, as well, as Perham outdistanced 11 other teams for the title with 147.425 points.
