New York Mills Post 116 faces Parkers Prairie in an elimination game in Hawley at the American Legion District 9 Division II tournament. The game will be played at high noon. Parkers Prairie was nipped by D-G-F 2-1 yesterday in the championship bracket. The Eagles stayed alive with a 4-2 win over Warroad.

The Perham Buzz look to go 2-0 at the American Legion District 9 Division I tournament in Detroit Lakes at 1 p.m., versus Fergus Falls. The Buzz are coming off a big win over Thief River Falls with some hot bats and should face tough pitching from their rivals from the county seat.

At Krueger Field, 4:30 p.m., New York Mills and Perham square off for a state tournament berth in the Babe Ruth 13-15-year-old tournament. The winner will advance to Saturday's 4 p.m. championship game.

The nightcap is another Mills/Perham clash when the Millers and Pirates play in Perham at 7:30 p.m. to stay alive in the Hi-10 playoffs. Both teams have already qualified for Regions. The winner gets a shot at the Detroit Lakes Angels Saturday. That game will be played in Audubon with a time to be determined. Updates on the schedule will be posted as learned.
